H Hey Dance Improvers!

Well, the man all the girls call "a very silly person" Kieren is
back from what can loosely be called a triumphant trip to America
and Tahiti. He is equipped with a million photos, thousands of funny
stories and a brand new liver courtesy of a nice man in Bolivia,
which replaces the one the delicious Bronwyn Bruce catagorically
destroyed in San Francisco. A blog style story is going to be online
in a few weeks on the SGC website for anyone interested, it will
have the complete juice, with photographic evidence to back it up.

In the meantime LOTS has happened at SGC. Kevin Luong SHREDDED
everyone in the YGO Regionals last weekend, Tim He(no real surprises
there)belted everyone at the MTG PTQ, and Obiwan Foggobi mananged to
work 20 outta 21 days WITHOUT shredding or belting anyone! Great
work Obiwan, and thanks for looking after the ship whilst I was gone.

And finally, Field Commander Foggo made friends with a lady from
Hopscotch Films and she has kindly given us a double pass for their
advanced screening of their groovy new movie, "Pan's Labyrinth!" Its
From the director of Hellboy 2 amongst other cool films!

There is a special advanced screening over a month before the
official release. Anyone can rock up to this advanced screening and
we have a free double pass to giveaway!

VS(Marvel & DC) TRADING CARD GAME

This weekend is one of the BIGGEST weekends of VS action in the
year, the Sydney 10K! This will be HUGE! We have a few top line
Silver Age decks at SGC we can lend out to new players free of
charge if you'd like to try this game, and we'll be at SGC late on
Friday night to teach you how to play! The game is great, cash prizes
($200US)down to 24th, promo foils and T-Shirts to top 64, so what

Like all 10K events, we're running a FUN team sealed tournament at
SGC Friday night for those in town looking to play some fun games.
Details as follows:

Format: 3 player team sealed
Entry $50 per team(for 11 boosters!)
Prizes: HEAPS of boosters up as prizes, plus infinite bragging
rights and a MEGA fun night of playing Team Sealed.

we're running a Pro Circuit Qualifier Sunday! Details as follows:

The Pro Circuit is coming to Sydney March 2-4th next year. This is
MEGA. 250K+ US is up for grabs, but you gotta qualify to enter, and
the 10K and PCQ's are the only way to get in. As we said earlier, we
have a couple of top notch VS decks we're happy to teach you how to
play and then lend out if you'd like to try, so cruise in and try
your luck!

The Following week is the Sneak Preview of the NEW VS expansion
Legions of Superheroes! Details as follows:

When: Saturday & Sunday 9th & 10th December. 10am & 2.30pm rego both
days
Format: Legions of Superheros sealed
Entry: $30(for 5 LOS boosters!)
Prizes: Playmats, Deck Tins, Promo cards and heaps of BOOSTERS of
LOS up for grabs, plus a fun 2 days of player LOS sealed BEFORE they
go on sale!!! ALL 4 flights also count towards Player of the Year
standings so you can boost your position BIGTIME!

And finally on VS, Tuesday night is Hobby League draft night at 6pm,
drafts are now just $15!!! Thursday nights there is usually a draft
as well(also $15)and Friday night at 7pm is our constructed hobby
league. Plus Silver Age Saturdays each Saturday arvo at 1.30pm

MAGIC THE GATHERING TRADING CARD GAME

As mentioned earlier Tim He won last Sundays PTQ, beating the very
groovy Clarrie Brown in the final (Clarrie is The MIGHTY Allan
Sharpes star apprentice). Tim won a trip to Geneva to represent Oz
at the Pro Tour, and will do admirably I'm sure. Top work Tim,
probably Australia's best MTG player.

This Sunday its an extended tournament, details as follows:

When: Sunday 3 December. 11am rego, 11:30am start.
What: Constructed, and you can use any card from Invasion block and
7th Edition forward through the current sets. (Except for banned
cards).
Entry: $10
Prizes: Limited Edition judge foils and a prize pool of 2 boosters
per player.

***BREAKING AMAZING NEWS for MTG drafters***
We're now running booster drafts 2 nights a week( Tuesday and
Thursdays) for a low low price of just $12!!!

This runs in December only as a end of year cheers to all our MTG
players, and if people like it, we'll keep it going in January!

YUGIOH TRADING CARD GAME

As mentioned earlier Kevin Luong smashed everyone at the YGO
Regionals Sunday, beating Chester Swords in the final. Both these
guys are 13 & under players, so to make the final 2 in an major open
event like a Regionals is a fine effort(though Kevin has been doing
it for years now!)

This Saturday is our regular YGO Hobby League at SGC. There's 2
events-13 & under and opens, both have rego at 9.30am for a 10am
start. Entry is just $5 with everyone winning a prize.

The next YGO Winter Regionals is December 17th, details as follows:

Yu-Gi-Oh Winter Regionals

When:Sunday 17 December. 10am rego, 10:30am start.
Format:Advanced Constructed.
Entry:$15.
Prizes: There's at least one booster per player and we'll also be
giving out playmats and a random tshirt. First place gets an invite
to Nationals as well!

NARUTO TRADING CARD GAME

Great work from Kenny "Le Bon" Nguyen for winning Naruto last
Sunday. Naruto is on again this Sunday at 2pm, entry is $6 with
boosters up as prizes.

After this Sunday we're swapping Naruto to Saturday arvos! So as of
December 9th Naruto will be Saturdays at 2pm!!!

POKEMON TRADING CARD GAME

Pokemon is on again this Sunday from noon. Its format is league, so
if you're mega late, or mega early, it doesn't matter! Just bring
your deck, turn up and play. Entry is $5, its modified constructed,
and everyone wins a prize.

Just to give everyone some warning the Pokemon league entry was
going to be $6 in the new year.

Pokemon is HEAPS of fun. If you'd like a demo cruise in on a Sunday
around 11am for a demo!

WORLD OF WARCRAFT TRADING CARD GAME

Well goobers we are pleased to annouce taht we have the BEST WOW
singles folder in Sydney! Yeehaah! This goes good with our drafts on
Tuesday nights and Thursday nights, and our weekly constructed
tournaments Saturday afternoons at 1pm. Plus we have a win a box
tournament coming up on December 10th, details as follows:

December WoW Win-a-Box Tourney
When: Sunday, 10th December. 12pm rego, 12:30pm start.
Format: Constructed.
Entry: $15.
Prizes: Prizes: Boosters and other cool stuff! First place is
guaranteed an entire box REGARDLESS of how many people show up!
Boosters are guaranteed to go to top 8 regardless of how many people
show up--and places below 8 may get boosters depending on how many
people enter.

WoW is a fine TCG. You don't need to be familiar with the only game
to play, the strategy and game mechanics are excellent, and the
cards look awesome. The first world wide regionals event is January
13th(at The Burwood Club-details to follow)with the top 4 qualifying
for National Championships.

This game is going be big(if its not already)jump in whilst its
still new. Cruise into SGC anytime for a demo, you'll like it.

FIRST WOW REGIONALS-
The new year starts with a bang for WoW organised play with the
first 4 slot WoW qualifier for Australian WoW Nationals.

DREAMBLADE COLLECTABLE MINIS GAME

Well done Jackson Fan who won the first SGC Dreamblade 1K the other
Saturday. Great work Jackson, you are a worth champ!

Dreamblade is on again this and every Thursday night from 7pm. Entry
is just $5 with cracked boosters and alternate paintjob figures up
as prizes!

If you want to try Dreamblade, cruise in for a demo. The game is
easy to learn, heaps of fun and the new set Baxars War is excellent.

week and we're already nearly sold out. Still some starters anmd a
few boosters left, drop in quick to start your collection. Heroclix
Supanova is also in for Clix players, as well as X-Mens boutique set
Days of future past". Sexy new deck boxes and ultra pro card sleeves
are also in, as are the hot series 2 Yugioh deck tins. The new
