NEWSLETTER - 07/12/2007

Hey Trumpet Players,

SOOOO much happened last weekend I can't really remember too much,
other than Steve Phung winning both the Wii and the $250 first prize
in our inaugural The Spoils TCG BIG weekend. It was a mega fun
weekend, with 17 players fighting it out for the Wii on Saturday and
EVERYONE having a brilliant time.

Movember also finished and whilst it was a close run thing at the
top, the table propers position was a fait accompli weeks out. The
final standings, for the record, were

Tony $61.70
Kieren $56.70
Obiwan Foggobi $40.00

An interesting footnote to this table is on the final Wednesday of
the competion(Kierens day off)with the store empty bar Obiwan, my
jar, all by itself, fell off the shelf and shattered. Foggo cannot
explain how this happened, or can he guarantee if all the money
splattered all over the floor ended up back in my smaller
replacement jar, or made its way into his….

Thanks to all who supported us in Movember, your help is much
appreciated and the money goes to a very good cause.

Lots happening again this weekend with 2 premier events, details as
follows:
