YGO Congratulations to Bodan for winning our first regionals for the 2008 season!! We have our regular Saturday event on this weekend. The new banned and restricted list comes into effect this weekend too! When: Sat Time: 9.30am-1pm Cost: $5, everyone wins a prize!! Next regionals will be on Sept 29. 2 player YGO

We are running 2 player vs 2 player YGO events after our normal Saturday tourney! Time: 1.30pm Cost: $5 per player Format: 2 on 2 YGO Duelling Give it a go…we will pair people up on the spot and explain the rules!! Its fun!!

MAGIC We are getting a lot more people for our under 16’s on Saturday arvo. Its on at 2pm- 4.30pm and costs $6. We try to finish with some multiplayer madness at the end. For the next 2 weeks in the lead up to 3 big sealed deck events.. We are running 2 Timespiral block constructed tournaments… When: Sunday Sept 2 Time: 11am Cost: $10 Format: TSP Block constructed.

THEN THE FINAL POTY EVENT OF THE 2007 SEASON BEFORE THE FINAL! When: Sunday Sept 9 Time: 11am Cost: $10 Format: Timespiral block constructed. Finals of the SGC Player of The Year will be before GP Brisbane.

Upcoming big MAGIC EVENTS: Sept 23 SGC Store based GP Brisbane Trial Cost: $35 Format: TSP Block Sealed Prizes: Boosters, plus the winner will get a 3 round bye at GP Brisbane.

Sept 29-30 LORWYN PRE-RELEASE Sat Bowlers Club of NSW 95 York St City Cost: $35 Time: 9.00am rego / 3pm rego There is a single under 16’s flight at 9.00am for only $30 as well. Its right near the train station.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT If you know how ot play magic you can learn WoW in 5 mins! There are nationals on in 2 weeks with 2 airfares, computers and heaps of prizes, it’s a great time to learn how to play! HEROCLIX We are going to do a ‘MODERN AGE’ format with 400pt teams this week. The restriction is only stuff from the last 4 sets only!!! That’s 2 DC and 2 Marvel sets. Unless something better comes up the week after will be ‘SILVER AGE’ 400pts, only teams from before the last 2 sets only. Then the Week after GOLDEN AGE Anything before the last 8 sets, (4 dc, 4 marvel) Craig’s format choices override these if required. These are the default formats. That’s probably it for this week.
