NEWSLETTER - 04/05/07

Hey Mini-Maxers,
Its Easter, a time for seafood BBQ's, cool drinks, and some sleep ins for the hard working guys at SGC. We'll be closed tomorrow(Good Friday) and Sunday(Easter Sunday)this week, but we'll be open 9.30am- 6pm Saturday and 11am-6pm Easter Monday, with 2 BIG events happening on the Monday Public Holiday.

But just to recap on the life and times of Field Commander Foggo-he is spending this Easter getting in touch with his roots. Thats right, he is going to The Great Escape music festival at Homebush to mosh his head of to the innovative music of one of his all time favourite bands-WOLFMOTHER! Since his hypothesis of "blues music can be traced back to Hank Williams, meaning all rock music can be traces back to Hank as well"was blown out of the water when it was revealed Robert Johnson was banging out the hits 9 years before Hank even knew how to tune a guitar, Foggo has been introspective, seeking solace in the fact that The Carter Family beat Mr Johnson by about a year in the recording stakes(though how anyone can say "The sunny side of life" has any bearing on "Crossroad Blues" is beyond me)However, 3 days of catching up with "The Mother" should hopefully get Obiwans perspective back in order, and hopefully will result in another musical hypothesis for us to discuss. Now all he has to do is work out which t-shirt to wear...

Heaps happening, check out the events:

MAGIC THE GATHERING COLLECTABLE CARD GAME
