NEWSLETTER - 12/10/06

Hey Fashionmakers,

Most social observers noticed a massive upward spike in the classometer last weekend as James White and Bronwyn Bruce popped into Sydney for the MTG Grand Prix! They were joined by an all star line up of 212 players from Japan, Malaysia, The USA, New Zealand and in Dan Turners case Erskinville to test their mettle against the best and have a crack at the 22K US prize pool. Early favourite, Shonky Jim Bandas, and his Team Shonk team mate Darth Cornford were early casualties, mainly due to nocturnal activities that the NSW police are still investigating, which left the door open for Team OMG superstar James Zhang to waltz his way through the field, shred the internaional stars in the top 8 draft and take home the cheque for $2500US, via a nearby Sydney Pub obviously. Great work James and OMG!

And in international MEGA news, the VS CCG has announced they are sending a Pro Circuit event to Sydney early next year!!!This means Sydney will host a Pro level event with 250K+ US in the prize pool, with the winner alone taking home around 50K US!! The side event schedule for not only VS but also Yugioh and the soon to be release ccg World of Warcraft will be MEGA, this will be 4 days worth of gameplay that will be memorable!

And the last internationally renown event this week is the marraige of Obiwan Foggobis delicious sister Mel to Doc this Saturday. Mel is a blend of sultry good looks and sharp intelligence which has most people in disbelief that she is related to Field Commander Foggo, let alone his sister, and so mega the event not only has FCF had a hair cut, he is as we speak buying a suit for the occasion (either that or the authorities have finally issued his hearing a time) Mel and Doc, all the best!

Well, oodles happening this week, on with the show:
