WORLD OF WARCRAFT COLLECTABLE CARD GAME

The World's first World of Warcraft series of Regionals happens in
Sydney this weekend! There will be VERY sexy playmats up for grabs,
plus the thrill of playing the first MEGA WOW event in Sydney.
Details as follows:

Where: The Burwood Club

When: Saturday 13th January. 9.30am rego, 10am start
Format: Constructed
Entry: $15
Prizes: Top 4 receive invites to 2007 Nationals in Sydney! Top 8
receive WOW playmats, and we have boosters to top 16 at least

For those who are new to WoW TCG, sleep in or bomb out of the
Regionals, there is a Lazy Peon tournament at 1pm with 2 WoW
playmats up as prizes(as well as boosters!) Details as follows:

When: Saturday 13th January. 12.30pm registration, 1pm start
Format: Lazy Peon(only common and uncommon cards allowed!)

Prizes: 2 playmats and boosters, plus a FUN arvo of playing WOW!!!

This will be a BIG day of WOW action, and they'll probably be drafts
back at SGC when the day is done.

Something for the calender. February 11th we're running a Raid
tournament! You need a team of 4(3 players and 1 dragon)to enter, if
you can't quite get there, let us know and we'll help find you a
team! It'll be at least 3 rounds with something cool up as prizes.

Don't forget, we play WOW Hobby League each Saturday arvo at 1.30pm
(constructed)and draft WOW each Tuesday and Thursday nights from
6pmish, where there is a strong play for fun session happening with
constructed decks before, during and after the drafts.

WOW is fun. The game is MEGA internationally and has a strong, even
mix of both tournament players and casual players. More Regionals
will be coming per month, as well a other funky tournaments. If

MAGIC THE GATHERING TRADEABLE CARD GAME

THIS Sunday we're going back into the Pit of Pain with our next
Player of the Year tournament! Its Type 2, fun with $100 cash to the
winner!

When: Sunday 14th January. 11am rego, 11.30am start
Format: Standard Type 2
Entry: $10
Prizes: $100 to the winner! Player of the Year points and boosters
to top 8, plus a fun day of playing MTG!

And the following weekend its the first UBER MTG weekend of the
year, the much anticipated PLANAR CHAOS PRE-RELEASE! Details as

weeks before they go on sale!

The weekend after we have 2 days of Sneak Peek action at The Sydney

In February we're starting up a 13 and under MTG league each
Saturday afternoon from 2pm. It's be just $6 to play everyone
winning a prize. Good players, and Field Commander Foggo, will be on
hand to help with deck construction, teach newbies how to play, and
generally organise things so that everyone has fun. So if you have
any young friends who want to learn MTG, or play against people

YUGIOH TRADING CARD GAME

Tasmania Welgang did it for the second time on Tuesday, creeping
into the top 8 then sweeping the field to win a school holiday
tournament. Tasmania beat the ever consistant Temajun Tera in the
final. As we speak 21 players are dueling it out for the mega
booster bounty that is school holiday tournaments at SGC. We hold
these events each Tuesday and Thursday at noon during the school
holidays, play 5 rounds of swiss with a top 8 play-off. Everyone is
guaranteed a booster, with the winner taking home 16! Its heaps of
fun, hopefully we'll see you next week!

Our Saturday Hobby League tournaments are still cranking along with
over 40 players again dueling it out in 2 separate events(open and
13 & unders). Its on again this Saturday from 10am(rego at 9.30am).
Entry is just $5 with everyone winning a prize, play wraps up at
1pm, usually after 4 rounds

And finally on Yugioh its another Regionals January 21st! Details as
follows:

When: Sunday 21st January. 10am rego 10.30am start
Format: Advanced Constructed
Entry: $15
Prizes: Winner gets invited to play the Yugioh Nationals in Sydney
later this year, plus a box of boosters! Playmats for the 2
finalists, boosters to top 24 at least plus a fun day playing high
level Yugioh!

VS(MARVEL & DC)TRADING CARD GAME

The mega game that is VS has its usual weekly events-Tuesday and
Thursday night drafts from 6pm, Friday night constructed Hobby
League at 7pm, then Silver Age Saturdays each Saturday arvo at
1.30pm. Plus we've added a new regular event to the schedule, its
designed for newish players, but all are welcome, its our weekly $20
VS sealed! Details as follows:

When: Each Saturday arvo at 4pm
Format: VS Sealed(you choose 5 boosters to make a 30 card minimum
deck with-all cept LOS)
Entry: Just $20
Prizes: Winner gets a JLA or Avengers deck tin set!!! Boosters, deck
tins and promos to top place getters, plus a fun arvo of playing
sealed VS REALLY CHEAP!

And for all those aiming at the 250K US at the Pro Circuit in Sydney

Prizes: Top 4 receive invites to Pro Circuit Sydney! Boosters and a
fun day of playing VS up as prizes as well, but the kicker is you

On a side note-next Wednesday night is the third annual grudge match
between Moral Crusader Honest Otto and his noble band of Arkham
Inmate against the immoral, unethical and downright unhygenic
Paul "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" Vanderwerk and his team
of mascara wearing hairdressers known as X-Men. For those who don't
like seeing a grown man cry, don't come and see this event as
Vanwolfgang will be turn from human into human pizza in around 31
minutes.

NARUTO TRADING CARD GAME

Great work from Kenny Le Bon who sang his way to a 3-0 resuly to win
last Saturdays sealed Naruto tournament! Coils of the Snake boosters
represented over half the booster pool and everyone agrees the new
set is excellent!

Coils is due back into stock next week, in the meantime its our
usual Saturday arvo tournament this Saturday from 2pm. Entry is just
$6 with evenyone winning a prize

Naruto is the next BIG anime game. Cards are great, gameplay is
strong and mistress of lerve Vickey is in charge of Australian
organised play so you know the prize support is going to be funky.
If you'd like a demo cruise in Saturday and the Mistress herself is
more than likely gonna be able to give you a demo!

POKEMON COLLECTABLE CARD GAME

The school holiday Pokemon tournament each Wednesday has been a MEGA
hit!!! Yesterday Adam Ferguson warmed up for the City Challenge with
a strong win, who will be next??? Its on each Wednesday from noon.
Entry is $6 with everyone winning a prize.

And don't forget our weekly Pokemon league each Sunday from noon.
Coz its league you can come and go as you please. choose who you
play against, and how many matches you play! Its heaps of fun, just
$6 and everyone wins a prize PLUS earns league points!

The Pokemon City Challenge is coming to Sydney Games Centre January
21st! Its Modified Constructed, has 3 different age catagories, has
medals and boosters as prizes and its absolutely FREE! If you play
Pokemon and want to try this is the BEST event to play in. Its fun,
ranked and its FREE!!!

HEROCLIX TRADABLE MINIATURES GAME

With the build up that CanCon is creating now that Croftminster are
sponsoring nearly every funky event we've decided to warm up for it
by hosting 2 tournament legal events! Details as follows:

Clix rocks. Its how Obiwan Foggobi and Honest settle their
managerial differences(and you should all be happy for that

build up your collection VERY quickly, so its cheap to get into. But
more importantly a nice bunch of people play. So come on in, Clix is

WWE RAW DEAL WRESTLING TRADEABLE CARD GAME

Top rope afficianato Trent is running a Access All Areas tournament
January 21st. Details as follows:

Format: Access All Area Constructed(no Rebellion)

Prizes: Promo foils, boosters and a fun arvo of playing WWE!!!

The game is a LOT of fun. Comic Images does a good job at supporting
it, and the guys who play are very cool. If you'd like a demo cruise

DUNGEON & DRAGONS MINIATURES

D&D Miniatures is on each Tuesday night from about 6.30pm. We run
200 point warbands, make it DCI sanctioned and its FREE!!

We have lots of boosters available, and league kits whenever WOTC
get them to us. If you'd like a demo cruise in Tuesday nights for a
game

STAR WARS MINIATURE

Same as D&D minis, we run Star Wars miniatures each Tuesday night
from around 6.30pm Its fun, free and DCI sanctioned. We have a
variety of starters and boosters available

STAR TREK 2ND EDITION TRADING CARD GAME

The most fun(in Foggo The Ferengis opinion)trading card game in the
store is on again this Sunday from 1.30pm. Entry is just $5, we play
at least 3 rounds, with boosters and promos as prizes.

Trek is LOTS of fun. Its easy to learn, cards are cheap, the game
plays like an episode or 2 and plays different each time and the
cards look fantastic! The latest set-Captains Log-is based around
the Voyager series and is awesome.
