Hi Bootleggers,
Kieren has gone travelling again to Reprazent SGC on the World Stage at GENCON SoCal. Updates on his trip include him watching the sunset from a San Francisco Wharf, nursing a beer and eating clam chowder... I, on the other hand am sorting 6,000 Magic cards, writing the newsletter and cleaning the toilets here in the shop...I'm not bitter, I'm not jealous...

As a going away party Kieren and I spent it following the Melbourne Cup. As usual I picked the horse who came second...I love a little bit of Pop Rock music, my other choice, Arty Farty did not fair so well. Having spent the night before reading Charles Bukowski and listening to 60's Beat poetry, his black wraparound shades and Pirate shirt proved to be non-Aerodynamic... The absinthe he used for insiration would also possibly have affected his judgement although winning him many jealous looks from the other horses who were merely on Gatorade. Next yeat Arty Farty...you have fans...oh and I loved your first album "Horsefloat for One" can't wait for the next one.

On the home front, our Worldwide D+D day had 24 players who each got an SGC showbag as well as as great day's dungeon crawling. Some of these guys are trying to set up roleplaying groups so if you are interested in playing on a Tuesday or Thursday night let us know.

Every Thursday and Friday is our pizza night for $5! Be here by 6.30 pm and get a large Pizza Hut pizza all to yourself, for $5!! We are open late those nights so come draft or just have some fun games till late!!
