How's your plans for global domination coming along? Ours are going
fine at the moment, we're waiting as we speak to take delivery on a
mind control ray gun from Taiwan which we will use to enslave the
entire human race, and to get drive through take away workers to not
forget half my order when I get 4.7km down the road before realising
it. It was a MEGA weekend of games last weekend, the highlight being
the Sydney VS 10K, won by Adelaide's Kakarot Turker, who beat the
very gallant and innovative Michael Lou in the final.

We have LOTS of specials this week, see below for all the dollar
saving goodness!

This weekend its more VS bling, plus a MEGA Star Trek tournament, a
WoW win a box and the usual YGO, Pokemon, MTG and Naruto
shenanigans. Details as follows:

VS COLLECTABLE CARD GAME

This week is the Sneak Preview of the brand new expansion Legions of
Superheros! And The Ben Seck, who is one of the most recognisable
faces in world TCG circles was lead designer, which explains why he
is always too busy to talk to me on MSN. To check out what he has
been working on come this weekend! Details as follows:

THE LEGIONS OF SUPERHEROS SNEAK PREVIEW

When: This weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. Morning events have a
10am rego, 10.30am start. Arvo events have 2.30pm rego 3pm start.
Format: Legions of Superheros sealed(you get 5 boosters to make a 30
card minimum deck with)
Entry: $30!!!
Prizes: SOOOOOO many boosters up as prizes players may need
wheelbarrows to get their prize haul home with them. Plus new design
deck tins, T-Shirts, promos and playmats, and a fun weekend of
playing sealed VS with the new set a week before it goes on sale!

Plus, we're still doing our legendary pre-registration offer, where
if you pre-reg and pay before Hobby League starts at 7pm Friday you
get a bonus booster for each flight you play! This will be a fun
weekend of VS loving, don't miss out!

We're also running school holiday VS tournaments as SGC each Friday
arvo starting December 15th at 1.30pm. Its $5, Golden Age and has
oodles of boosters up as prizes, plus some promos and decktins. We
have decks in store we can lend out so if you'd like to try before
you buy come in on a Friday arvo and have a go!

We have our usual Hobby League Fridays(we're cracking gallery packs
for EA foil prizes now!), $15 drafts Tuesdays and Thursdays, and
Silver Age Saturdays from 1.30pm.

We're pumping out VS Golden Age tournaments each Friday during the
school holidays! Entry is just $5 with boosters and LE's up as
prizes, play starts at 1.30pm and its UDE sanctioned.

VS rocks. We have heaps of pre made decks available for new players
for the princely sum of $10 which kick and will get you started
(whole bunch of decks just built by Luke and AJ-THANKS!), the prize
support is crazy, the game plays brilliantly and Sydney is hosting a
Pro Circuit in March 2007! This is AWESOME news and now is a fine
time to have a try.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT COLLECTABLE CARD GAME

The BIGGEST new ccg this year is WoW. The Onyxia Raid Decks landed
yesterday and look REALLY sexy. Plus this Sunday we're running a win
a box tournament, details as follows:

When: Sunday 10th December. Noon rego, 12.30pm start
Format: Standard Constructed
Entry: $15
Prizes: Winner takes home a box of WoW!!! Boosters to top 8 plus a
fun arvo of playing WoW!!!

We also run WoW drafts each Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6.30pm
till late, and WoW constructed tournaments after Yugioh each
Saturday at 1.30pm. Our singles folders are the best in Sydney and
Chris & Kieren are happy to teach you how to play. Plus the first
WoW regionals will be held in Sydney January 13th at The Burwood
Club.

And finally for WoW we're running tournaments in the school holidays
every Wednesday at 1.30pm. Entry is just $6 with boosters and a fun
day playing WoW up as prizes. Its a good way to learn the game if
you're new to it as ObiWOW Foggobi will be on hand to give you play
tips and deck advise, plus you can meet and trade with other players
and have a few casual games as well.

MAGIC THE GATHERING COLLECTABLE CARD GAME

The Sydney 500 is coming!!! And this Sunday we're running a warm up
event for it! Details as follows:

When: Sunday 10th December. 11am rego, 11.30am start
Format: Type 2
Entry: $10
Prizes: Winner gets FREE ENTRY into the Sydney 500 December 30th.
Boosters to top 8 at least, plus a fun day of playing MTG.

Speaking of MTG, Tim He, arguably the best Australian player, came a
commendable 24th at the World Championships in France this week. Tim
is ALWAYS a strong player and this result confirms what most players
already know-Tim is THE NUTS!

We're also running drafts on an addition night now-Tuesdays, and the
good gear is its just $12!!!!!!!!!!!!! Same as our Thursday drafts,
the price has dropped to just $12!!!!!!

Our famous School Holidays tournaments are on again starting next
week! Its on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1pm. Entry is just $2
and store credit is up as prizes.

Plus we have Friday Night Magic, each Friday night at 6.30pm. This
months FNM foils are Fire/Ice and they look VERY swish!

YUGIOH COLLECTABLE CARD GAME

A BIG Saturday of Yugioh last Saturday as Chris ran a record 6
rounds of the 13 and under flight!!! After this grueling test of
dueling endurance superfit Nathan Canty-Seghers stood tall at 6-0
with John Bacci a fine 5-1 second. In the open event it was Reza
Aimdemah and Chester Swords both going 4-0 to take home the
boosters! Well done guys!

Yugioh Hobby League is on again 9.30am-1pm this Saturday. Entry is
just $5 with everyone winning a prize.

The next Yugioh Regionals is on at SGC December 17th, details as
follows:

When: Sunday 17th December. 10am rego 10.30am start(and you will
need a decklist)
Format: Advanced Constructed
Entry: $15
Prizes: Winner takes home a box of the latest expansion. Crazy
amounts of boosters for top 16, everyone wins at least 1 booster!
WInner also qualifies for Nationals in Sydney in June!

Top news for Ninja Genin, we’re swapping our Naruto tournaments from
Sunday to Saturdays!!! That’s right, each Saturday afternoon we’re
playing Naruto from 2pm till around 5pm. Entry is $6 and everyone

And speaking of Pokemon The Pokemon City Challenge is on at Sydney
Games Centre January 21st! It will be modified constructed, more
details when they come to hand.

Pokemon is still a fun, happening game with around 30 players
popping in to SGC each Sunday to play league which is run in a fun,
happy way by Mistress of Lerve Vickey. If you’d like to learn she

STAR WARS MINIATURES

With the arrival of the new Star Wars minis stand alone
game “Starship Battles” we haven’t run a traditional minis
tournament for a few weeks, but all that is about to change this
Tuesday when we hit it again in full swing. Details as follows:

Format: 200 point constructed
Entry: Its absolutely FREE!!!

Plus its DCI sanctioned so you can work on your rankings each week
and try to overtake Dr Richard Myors for the top spot! Its fun, free

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS MINIS

D&D minis is a similar thing to SW minis, in that its on each
Tuesday night from 6.30pm, its DCI sanctioned and its FREE!!!! There
is promo figures up as prizes so and the guys will have a spare
warband to lend you if you wanna have a go, and like Star Wars minis
its easy to learn(you use a D20 and bingo-you’re away!) Cruise in on
a Tuesday, its fun and its free!

DREAMBLADE COLLECTABLE MINIATURES GAME

Dreamblade players are loving things at the moment. 2 1K tournaments
in Sydney last month, a new expansion just out and fine organised
play support from WOTC make this an exciting game to try out. We
play Edge tournaments each Thursday night at 7pm. Entry is just $5
with cracked boosters and alternate minis up as prizes, plus its
sanctioned so you can work on your rating. This is the game WOTC
staff play during their lunchbreak, so you know its good. If you’d
like a demo of DB pop in anytime, you’ll like it.
